Wabash Valley Rubber Duck RegattaThe 2026 Wabash Valley Rubber Duck Regatta presented by Kroger will be held Saturday, July 4, at 7:00pm where 10,000 bright yellow rubber ducks will race down a water slide at Fairbanks Park. Proceeds from this event provide hope for a future without hunger, homelessness or insecurity in the Wabash Valley. One lucky winner will receive a $10,000 cash prize and the chance to win $1,000,000!
The Regatta was not just a day of family fun and duck-filled excitement. It is a meaningful fundraiser supporting vital programs that provide food, shelter, and stability to individuals and families throughout West Central Indiana.

Cheers for Charity!Catholic Charities Terre Haute hosted another unforgettable Cheers for Charity on Thursday, October 16, at the Vigo County History Center. The elegant evening combined drink pairings, fine dining and local history for a one-of-a-kind experience that brought the community together in support of Catholic Charities’ mission.
Guests enjoyed a progressive four-course dinner prepared by Edibles Catering & Foods to Go, with each course paired with expertly selected beverages. Between courses, attendees explored the museum’s historic exhibits, creating a seamless blend of culinary excellence and cultural discovery.
The night also featured a virtual silent auction showcasing local treasures and getaway packages, along with raffles for specialty wine and bourbon baskets valued at more than $600 combined.
All proceeds from the evening support Catholic Charities’ programs that provide food, shelter, youth services, and essential resources for individuals and families throughout West Central Indiana.
The sold-out event celebrated generosity, community and the lasting impact of coming together for a cause that changes lives.

Soup Bowl Benefit
The 16th Annual Soup Bowl Benefit was truly one to remember.
With nearly 300 guests in attendance, our community showed up in a powerful way to stand against food insecurity. Because of your support, each $30 ticket will help provide up to 120 meals for our neighbors.
Guests selected from hundreds of hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind bowls generously donated by talented local artists and sampled more than 20 delicious soups prepared by incredible local restaurants and chefs. The room was filled with laughter, connection and a shared commitment to making sure our neighbors have food on their tables.
This event would not have been possible without our amazing volunteers. From setup to serving to cleanup, their energy and dedication made the entire afternoon seamless and welcoming.
Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, created, cooked and served. Together, we are making a difference one bowl at a time.

Quick Quack Trail RunCatholic Charities Terre Haute’s 2026 Quick Quack Trail Run brought runners, walkers and supporters together on Saturday, June 20, at Griffin Bike Park for a fun-filled morning of community and competition.
Participants of all ages took on the scenic trails in support of Catholic Charities programs, including Bethany House Emergency Shelter, Christmas Store, Ryves Youth Center and Terre Haute Catholic Charities Foodbank. This year’s event drew a strong turnout, including 23 youth under 18, 20 participants aged 50 and older, and 73 first-time racers. Catholic Charities also recognized five runners who have participated in the event for five or more years!
