FSSA issuing full SNAP benefits

The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) will begin issuing full SNAP benefits on 11/15/25. Eligible recipients can expect the funds to be available on their EBT cards starting Sunday, November 16. If your regular issuance date has passed, your benefits will be available on Sunday, November 16.

Households receiving SNAP benefits recertify annually and have interim reporting every 6 months. We have received no confirmation that all households will have to reapply in order to continue receiving SNAP benefits

• Terre Haute Catholic Charities Foodbank’s network of more than 120 partner pantries, mobile pantries and soup kitchens spans seven counties. We have already begun increasing the amount of food distributed into the community and stand ready to continue doing so for as long as needed. Find a pantry near you
• Ryves Youth Center provides afterschool programs that include a snack and dinner as well. All children are welcome and a simple application can be found here.
• Registration is now open for the Christmas Store for any household needing extra help over the holiday. Details can be found here.
• Contacts have been made to locations with federal employees to assess their need for assistance.
