If you were approved for SNAP on or after the 15th of October, 2025, you will receive a prorated amount for the month of October based on the date the SNAP application. Your November benefits will not be issued.
If you have SNAP dollars remaining after October 31, they will be available into November until spent. Learn More About SNAP
Catholic Charities Terre Haute is committed to nourishing the minds, bodies and spirits of our neighbors and we know that many may now be needing assistance for the first time. We are prepared to meet the increased need and welcome all to our programs.
Terre Haute Catholic Charities Foodbank’s network of more than 120 partner pantries, mobile pantries and soup kitchens spans seven counties. We have already begun increasing the amount of food distributed into the community and stand ready to continue doing so for as long as needed. Find a pantry near you
Ryves Youth Center provides afterschool programs that include a snack and dinner as well. All children are welcome and a simple application can be found here.
Registration is now open for the Christmas Store for any household needing extra help over the holiday. Details can be found here.
Contacts have been made to locations with federal employees to assess their need for assistance.
