Ryves Youth Center, a program of Catholic Charities Terre Haute, hosted its annual Trunk or Treat on Wednesday, October 15, bringing families and community partners together for a safe and festive Halloween celebration.
The evening kicked off with a free community dinner, where over 200 people were served inside Ryves Youth Center. Afterward, children made their way to the parking lot to enjoy Trunk or Treat, where local businesses, organizations, and volunteers had transformed their vehicles into colorful, candy-filled displays.
Dozens of trunks lined the lot, creating a fun and welcoming environment for kids of all ages to collect treats and show off their costumes. The event drew even more families after dinner, filling the space with laughter, excitement and Halloween spirit.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the businesses, organizations and individuals who decorated trunks, passed out treats, and helped make the evening a memorable one for the youth and families we serve.
Events like this highlight the power of community and the mission of Ryves Youth Center to provide a safe, welcoming space for children and families to grow, connect and celebrate together.
